About Julide Turker

I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience, specialising in uncovering and addressing the root causes of health challenges. My approach is not symptom-focused, but rather person-centred: every protocol is designed uniquely for the individual, integrating nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, herbs, and natural medicine to restore balance and health.

I now focus on supporting women and children with their health challenges, with a special dedication since 2022 to Paediatric Naturopathy for children under 12. I believe the earlier we set strong foundations for physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness, the more resilient families become as they grow together.

Qualifications and Training

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy & Nutrition)
  • Postgraduate studies in Food Science / Food Engineering – University of Melbourne
  • Postgraduate studies in Public Health Torren’s University
  • Play Therapy training
  • Personal Trainer
  • Neurolinguistic Programming Coach
  • Parent Coach

Alongside my clinical practice, I draw deeply from the Islamic tradition, holding the belief that our bodies are an amanah(trust) from Allah ﷻ, and that conscious care of our health is both a responsibility and an act of worship.

Clinical Philosophy

My practice is grounded in the principle that prevention is better than cure. I work holistically with women and families, empowering them to understand how diet, environment, and emotional wellbeing interconnect with spiritual health. Every consultation is about more than just managing symptoms, it is about nurturing resilience, vitality, and alignment of body, mind, and soul.

I am committed to helping women and children restore health and thrive physically, mentally, and spiritually, so that they can step into the best version of themselves.

Author & Educator

I am the author of One Third of Your Stomach, a book inspired by prophetic wisdom and modern science. It explores the intimate link between food, spirituality, and holistic wellbeing, reminding us that health is not separate from faith or environment, but part of a divine trust (amanah).

Alongside this, I am the founder of The Sunna-tarian, a movement dedicated to reviving prophetic traditions around food, lifestyle, and conscious living, bringing them into a modern, practical framework for families and communities. My most-recent publication is called The Sunna-tarian; a vicegerents guide to a holistic health pyramid which explores the why, what, when and how of food from an islamic perspective.

Looking ahead, I am have a pipeline of children’s books and health products, designed to educate and empower the next generation in health, faith, and holistic wellness. These resources will offer families accessible, faith-aligned tools to support physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing from an early age.

Personal Life

I am a mother of three beautiful children (ages 9, 7, and a 3 year old), and I run my global practice online through Zoom and phone consultations, a model that grew organically alongside my own motherhood journey.

Outside of work, I love reading, painting, and gardening. I hold a first-dan black belt in Taekwondo and enjoy movement as a way to support both body and spirit. World history, literature, and the liberal arts inspire my curiosity, and I am currently revisiting the piano, a joy I first discovered in high school.
